We now have the most beautiful walkway thanks to Marcia and her crew! Marcia was detailed with her explanations of what to expect when it comes to pricing, materials (she showed us what our options in rocks and edging were), and what the path would look like when done. She was very patient with us throughout the process. Her crew were two hardworking, very kind guys who invited us to watch the build and welcomed our input and involvement in the project, right down to having us do test walks down the pavers to make sure our stride was comfortable and they were spaced correctly. They were not only punctual, arriving on time on the date Marcia gave us, but worked well and quickly-- the entire pathway, plus a patching up of bad grass with fresh new sod, was completed in two days. Marcia is an artist!! I wanted to remove all the old landscaping from the front of my house and start fresh. I had a general idea of what I wanted, but no real plan for how to make it a reality. She was patient and listened to my ideas. She asked thoughtful questions to understand my tolerance for maintenance/upkeep, preference for colors, general types of plants, etc. She also shared her expertise and opinions along the way and provided renderings for several design options. When it was time to pick plants, she offered up many options with pictures and recommendations for what would go well together, what would work best given the orientation of my house for morning sun/afternoon sun/shady areas, etc. She even met with me at a nursery to discuss plants and some accent boulders for the design. When the time came for installation, she was present the entire day with the crew providing direction, placing plants, and overseeing every step of the way. She earned my trust so I let her execute her plan. She had a real vision and took pride in making it a reality. Her communication was excellent throughout the entire process. She had a strong attention to detail and genuine passion for the outcome. She followed up several times after the installation to make sure everything was looking good and that I was happy with the result. I was so pleased, I am now hiring her again to redesign the landscape in the back of the house. Well done, Marcia!
