I have never been more disappointed by an automotive repair shop. My vehicle sat at this shop for two full weeks, yet I received little communication and no meaningful results. When I finally went to pick it up, the vehicle would not even start. Having to get a jump start in the parking lot of the very shop that had possession of my vehicle for two weeks is unacceptable and frankly embarrassing for any professional repair facility. As if that were not bad enough, the engine cover was missing when the vehicle was returned to me. No explanation, no accountability, and no attention to detail. The most frustrating part of this experience was the complete lack of communication and professionalism. I repeatedly felt ignored, left in the dark, and forced to chase down information about my own vehicle. Customers should not have to wonder whether anyone is actually working on their vehicle or care enough to provide basic updates. I have owned vehicles for more than 15 years and have dealt with numerous repair shops over that time. This was, without question, the worst experience I have ever had. The combination of poor communication, lack of urgency, questionable handling of my vehicle, and failure to return it in proper condition has completely destroyed my confidence in this business. Experiences like this are exactly why so many people are skeptical of automotive repair shops. Trust is everything in this industry, and this shop failed at every opportunity to earn or maintain it. I would not recommend this business to anyone. What should have been a straightforward repair process turned into a frustrating, stressful, and completely avoidable nightmare. 0/10. Never again. UPDATE: I stand by my review. After weeks of delays, poor communication, and a complete lack of resolution, I took my vehicle to another repair facility. They diagnosed and addressed the issue promptly, professionally, and without the constant back-and-forth that I experienced at your shop. The difference in customer service, responsiveness, and technical competence was immediately apparent. Additionally, during my discussions with the second facility, I was informed that the type of experience I encountered with your shop is not uncommon and that your business has developed a reputation within the local automotive community for similar issues. While I cannot independently verify every claim made to me, it certainly aligns with my personal experience. My review reflects exactly what occurred: my vehicle sat for two weeks without a solution, required a jump start when I picked it up, and was returned with a missing engine cover. Those are facts, not opinions. Rather than attempting to dismiss or minimize my experience, I would encourage your business to focus on improving communication, accountability, and customer service so future customers do not encounter the same issues. I am pleased to report that another facility was able to provide the level of professionalism and responsiveness that I expected from the beginning.
Truly a 5‑star experience at Christian Brothers Automotive in Land O’ Lakes. The facility is spotless, professional, and run with impressive efficiency. The entire team is courteous, clear in their communication, and respectful of both your time and your budget. What stands out most to me is that the “Christian” in their name is not just a Bible verse on the wall; their demeanor, integrity, and generous, servant‑hearted attitude consistently reflect the Gospel in action. Their work on my vehicle was excellent, but even more impactful was the peace of mind and genuine care they provided throughout the process. I’m grateful to have a shop like this in our community and will gladly continue to trust them with my vehicles.
