    Horrible experience. Be careful when you get anything done with this people. I don't know if they are under new management but they will file the insurance with two different codes knowing by doing this will get rejected by the insurance and make you pay for the other codes. This was confirmed by my insurance and the billing department at coast dental as she preferred not to answer a question about this scam, i asked the lady at coast dental ((( As you know the insurance won't pay if you enter this code at same time as the other one code, why are you guys doing so?))) She automatically stop talking and hang up the phone with me and my insurance provider as we were on a 3 way call. If you don't know the codes are procedure that they bill to the insurance to get paid. As an example the code in question is like having an oil change but getting charged twice for it but the difference was that they looked at your transmission oil and the other one was just and oil changed. But the oil change with oil check was paid by the insurance but not the second oil change. You can complain about call them 20+ times you can call with your insurance but they will never do anything. If you have gone tho this company double check your bill and call your insurance. This people are scammers. I am going to start an investigation and I will be reporting this to BBB. I will be getting the recorded call to be investigated.

    Sravya did an amazing job. I have sensitivity issues and she took great care cleaning my teeth. I was dreading my visit. She made the Experience pleasant. I really really really appreciate her patience And diligence. I will be sure to request her the next time I visit Coast Dental. She is excellent and I highly recommend!

    Had a successful 1st visit. The staff was great and efficient. I’m their new patient! Dr. J listened to my concerns and will provide the treatment I need and want.

    I received an unsolicited postcard from Coast Dental in Lutz. The postcard, among other things, provided instructions for making online appointments. I was looking for a new dentist as our insurance changed for 2025, so I got online and made an appointment and received a confirmation. The day before my appointment, I received a text message from Coast Dental along with a link that stated I needed to fill out several (5) forms prior to my appointment the next day - not sure why they waited till the night before to send it. So, I filled out the forms and submitted them and the next day I headed to my appointment. When I arrived I was greeted by the receptionist who asked for my name and insurance card. She then told me that she couldn’t find an appointment for me on her schedule. She then ask me if I made the appointment online. I told her yes, so then she went to another page on her screen and found the appointment. She told me that there was “a problem with appointments made online not making it onto their in-house calendar”. I thought this was odd that they would send out a postcard containing instructions to make an online appointment knowing they had issues with online appointments merging into the office scheduling calendar. (Why have separate calendars anyway!?!?). She then told me that she’d have to check with the dentist to see if they could “fit me in” (even though I had a confirmed appointment). I should also mention that there wasn’t another patient in the place, it was like a morgue. To my surprise, the receptionist apologetically shared with me that they would be unable to treat me that day (because of their poor scheduling system and their lack of interest in trying to find a way to accommodate me). I don’t know how a business can knowingly send out mailers with instructions to use an unreliable system to make appointments and not try to fix it. The online scheduling system obviously made an appointment for me as I received confirmation as well as the text message the day before my appointment to fill out the myriad of paperwork prior to my arrival. If they’re aware of the problem, why not at least manually compare the calendars to avoid the scheduling issue until they can wrap their heads around it?! Needless to say, I will not be returning as I had juggled a lot of things in order to be seen that day, and have no confidence that scheduling issue could affect me going forward. I don’t blame the receptionist, it’s definitely Coast Dental's fault. They rolled out an online system that they obviously didn’t do enough testing with beforehand and don’t seem to care enough to fix it as I was told the “problem has been occurring quite a bit”.

    The office staff is exceptionally nice. Dr Rogus is very professional and gentle. They also give you full details of treatment plan with prices before work commences.
