Thank you for taking great care of my car. Excellent customer service and transparency. My parked car was hit and the fender had to be replaced among other things. After about 10 days, my car was brand new. The process was easy, with the rental specialist at the center to give me the rental car. I received updates on my car as well. Everything worked out, I trust Ferman Collision Center! Thank you again

Ferman Collision Center of Wesley Chapel Dropped the Ball—Badly
Ferman received my truck on 10/13/2024. That date matters because I just got it back this week—nearly a year later.
Before handing it over, I made it crystal clear: I needed my truck back by 11/22/2024 for a mountain trip. The truck was drivable, and I even offered to bring it back after vacation, but I was reassured—multiple times—it would be done. Instead, they tore it apart, removed the roof, and let it sit.
The deadline came and went. When I called the shop manager at the time (Richard R.), I asked for a loaner. His response: “Not our issue, we don’t provide loaners.” Later, I found out they do.
When I returned from my trip, the truck was still unfinished. By 12/23/2024, I was told it was finally being “buttoned up.” Translation: Jessica and Zach were wiping it down when I arrived—that was the extent of their “finishing touches.” End of day, limited time to inspect. Convenient. Later inspection revealed:
Seatbelts that wouldn’t retract
Fingerprints on the headliner and cab interior
Construction dust everywhere (even engine compartment)
New body damage and missing parts
Overspray from repaint
One chrome mirror, one black (went in with two black)
Passenger door that didn’t close properly
And it got worse.
The sunroof leaked and scraped with every use. The headliner was misaligned. The dome light was damaged. The third brake light drilled in crooked with extra holes.
When I took it back, the new service manager (Scott) and my Geico agent confirmed the issues. Scott admitted: “This needs to go to Toyota.”
At Wesley Chapel Toyota, they said the truck required a body shop. Enter Sun Toyota. They corrected everything Ferman botched:
Installed a new roof properly welded
Replaced the headliner
Redid most of the bodywork
Replaced side airbags (Ferman had glued them in place)
Over $20,000 in corrections
Yes—glued airbags.
Ferman had also caked on bondo in layers up to 40+ mils thick. When I raised this with Chris S. (regional manager), I was told this was “within standards.” Maybe their standards.
To this day, not one person at Ferman has apologized. Not once. Every detail of this ordeal was shared with their staff, but instead of written responses, they only call back—conveniently leaving no record.
I have photos, videos, emails, and documentation. Nothing here can be disputed. Reviews exist for a reason: to warn others.
Unfortunately, one star is the lowest rating available. If I’m being honest, that’s generous.
The funniest thing in all of this is Ferman wanted the opportunity to do the corrections themselves to "keep the costs down" as I was told. None of this would have been uncovered or at least disclosed to me.
In the pictures, the panel that is cut out is one that had to be replaced. It's amazing what paint can conceal under the surface.

The advice id give to anyone after picking up your car is to CHECK UNDER YOUR CARS! I’ll begin by saying, the exterior of the car came out great. They were able to fix the hood, bumper, grille, headlight, and fenders. The paint looks to match exactly and is very clean. Good job to the guys on the body work. I don’t believe my bumper was replaced but they did seem to fix the crack. After a few days, I would drive my car and hear a very slight rattle so I decided to work on my car. I enjoy working on my car and was doing some maintenance and went under the car and instantly realized the part that protects the radiator was missing. It’s a black plastic piece that doesn’t keep the bottom of the engine bay exposed. Ya that was gone. To add, a bunch of clips were missing and that would explain the slight rattling I heard in the front. Also, I found some left over food wrappers and a spray cap in my engine bay. I mean come on, it’s a car not a garbage can. After further inspection, I was missing some random nuts and bolts that would hold the headlight up and randomly found a broke plastic piece on the drivers side of the engine bay. Not too sure where it belongs, but hoping when I bring it back in, everything can get figured out. I understand after an accident, your car won’t always be at 100% but at least take pride in your work and do things right.

Everyone at the shop was friendly, helpful, and professional. They went out of their way to provide information and assist with communication. The facility itself is clean, bright, and comfortable.
