On my first visit, I was warmly greeted by the manager, Bella, who provided the necessary paperwork and politely answered all of my questions. My appointment was at 9:00 a.m., and I was seen immediately, something I truly appreciate in a dental office. I was then welcomed by Dr. Alex and his dental assistant, Angie. Dr. Alex was extremely professional and thorough. He complimented my gum hygiene, which I had heard before, but he also identified two cavities I wasn’t aware of and offered to treat them right away. Throughout the procedure, he explained everything clearly, frequently checked to make sure I was comfortable, and even asked if I needed additional anesthesia. I had a filling done on one of my front teeth, and the result is flawless. No one can tell it was ever worked on. His skill and attention to detail are second to none.
Overall, the entire experience was smooth, professional, and reassuring. Dr. Alex is an amazing dentist, and I now consider this my primary dental office.

I recently moved to the Tampa area from Georgia for work and needed to find a new dentist. A neighbor recommended this office, and I’m so glad they did. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by Bella at the front desk. She was incredibly pleasant, professional, and genuinely caring toward me and my family. Dr. Afsahi and the entire staff were welcoming, supportive, and provided top-notch care. My family and I truly felt valued and well taken care of. Highly recommend Dr. Afsahi and team!

I have been going to Dr. Alex’s practice for over 5 years now. The staff from the front desk to the hygienists are amazing. The detail of care is top tier. I love this office and followed them from Hillsborough to Lutz. They take such great care of my family and I. I will continue to recommend them to anyone that is in need of dental care.

I have had the greatest of time getting my dental work and needs done at this office, with such great and amazing staff from Angie, Jung, Dr. Alex and Bella. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone reading this.
Speaking of reading, I’d also like to add that after reading some reviews, one really stood out to me, and that’s the one where a patient had said: one of Dr. Alex’s staff members Bella was essentially being “inappropriate” towards her husband! Well I will say that I am married and my interactions with Bella have been nothing but pleasant! She is full of life and positive energy.
I know she makes everyone laugh in this practice as well as myself. I wouldn’t and couldn’t view the conversations we have had, ever near the degree of being flirtatious nor inappropriate. She had also reached out to me via text on my phone to wish me get well after my treatment, and my wife, for a follow up. Both on separate occasions. I feel that the lady may have misconstrued a simple check-up, or report of a client and representative reaching out this way because it doesn’t happen enough in our society nowadays. Let’s bring back actually reaching out to clients individually!
Let’s bring back the days where I can get a personal call from the front desk or any staff to wish me a happy Halloween or ask how my 4th of July went etc.
And I found it really warming that a dentist office of this caliber would rather let a person contact me and my wife as a follow up rather than a computer generated message or a dang automated message... I hope the lady below me understands this concept. I hope that they don’t change this concept because a lot of people nowadays who own business forget about the personal touch, the actual care and concern part as a lot of things nowadays are “streamlined to make the process more efficient, like self checkout in grocery stores”
Sorry for “ranting” but I just thought I’d also share my passionate thoughts. Thanks for my beautiful new crowns as well

The dentist there is a great physician; it's a shame I can’t say the same about the rest of the staff particularly his wife and his assistant, Bella. Since it’s a family business, I kept going there for years, but I recently had a very unpleasant experience. Bella, the dental assistant, acted inappropriately by sending my husband personal messages. The first time I addressed it, his wife made excuses for her, even though I saw the messages myself.
Now that I’m divorced, I received another inappropriate message meant for him. When I called to confront this and asked to have my number removed from their files, his wife interrupted and wouldn’t allow me to speak. She made excuses for Bella once again and then hung up on me.
As you can imagine, I will no longer be going there. It’s extremely unprofessional and not how a business should treat its patients. There are always two sides to a story, and I have proof to back mine up. If you want to avoid having your marriage put at risk, I’d suggest choosing a dental practice elsewhere.
Dear Dr. Alex,
Thank you for your message and for taking the time to follow up.
At this point, I feel it’s not worth my time or energy to continue going back and forth regarding this matter. Bella is aware that this was not the first time I brought it to your attention. When it happened the first time, I chose to let it go and continued coming to the office out of respect for your care and professionalism.
You are truly a phenomenal physician, and it's unfortunate that, more often than not, it's staff interactions not the physicians themselves that lead patients to discontinue care. As a medical professional myself, I hear this far too frequently.
When the situation happened again, the messages were sent from Bella’s personal cell number and were directed to my now ex-husband. Please don’t be sorry if anything, I’m sorry that you have to manage staff behavior like this. I truly doubt I’m the only person this has happened to. Bella’s behavior has often come across as flirtatious and may benefit from some professional coaching and awareness.
When I attempted to share my concerns directly with your wife, I wasn’t given the opportunity to explain, which was disappointing. At this time, I don’t believe there’s anything further to discuss. I sincerely hope things work out for your practice and that Bella takes this as a chance to reflect and improve.
As a final note, I’d also like to mention that the Father's Day message could have been more thoughtfully worded. It’s important not to assume everyone receiving the message is a father, or to overlook that some may be grieving or unable to have children. A more inclusive and sensitive message would go a long way in respecting the diverse experiences of your patients.
Wishing you and your practice the best moving forward.
In addition perhaps having her send a more professional message like the following:
On behalf of our entire team, we extend our warmest wishes this Father’s Day to all the fathers, father figures, and those who provide guidance, care, and support to others.
We recognize that this day may carry different meanings for each individual, and we honor the unique experiences and emotions it may bring. Whether you are celebrating, reflecting, or remembering, please know that we are thinking of you and wish you strength and peace today and always.
With sincere appreciation,
